In 2019 (January-July), according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the volume of trade between Ukraine and Pakistan amounted to  90 million US dollars, with export of goods amounting 46 million US dollars (63% of compared to the same period the last year) and import of goods amounting 43,2 million US dollars (114% increase to the same period of the last year).  Positive balance for Ukraine was more than 2 million US dollars.

For the year 2019, the main articles of Ukrainian export to Pakistan: agricultural and diary products, vegetables, grain, as well the Ukrainian export traditionally based on such items: boilers, machinery, ferrous metal etc.

The main products imported by Ukraine are: textile items, cotton, citrus fruits, rice, plastic and polymers.

The military-technical cooperation is developing intensively between the two states.

In January 2011, entered into force the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on trade and economic cooperation, and in June - the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

In May 2012, a joint Business Council between the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and industry of Pakistan started it’s activity.
