Rivne Oblast (also Rivne region or Rivnenshchyna) is a promising region for investors. 

The favorable geographical location at the crossroads of the Trans-European Motorways, well-developed transport and social infrastructure, significant manufacturing, resource, employment, and tourist potential create the preconditions for the dynamic development of the region. The Regional Development Strategy until 2027 provides for the implementation of a set of tasks, programs and projects, the end result of which is to ensure leadership of the Rivne Oblast in the North-Western region of Ukraine in forming a competitive economic complex based on SMART specialization, to ensure balanced development of territories and capable communities, as well as to create favorable conditions and equal opportunities for doing business and personal self-fulfillment of inhabitants. In order to implement these ambitious plans the region foresees such decisive factors as encouragement of attracting investments and ensuring favorable investment climate in the region. 

Toward this end, the region implements appropriate regional programs and actions, which are funded, among other resources, through targeted funds of the regional budget. The region attracts specialized agencies that were initially created by the Regional State Administration and the Regional Council to intensify the investment activity, in order to implement these programs and actions. The Investment Council of the region, as the leading counselling and advisory body in the given field, includes the heads of all leading companies of the region. 

The region also actively cooperates with financial institutions and international assistance projects. 

This investment passport is an integral part of the regional investment policy. Its task is to inform investors about the potential and prospects of Rivne region development.
