Today, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the National Flag.

The solemn flag hoisting ceremony took place in the city of Dnipro for the first time.
President Petro Poroshenko raised the ‘blue-and-yellow' National Flag.
The President said: The slogans “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” will be the official greetings of the Armed Forces of our state”.
The highest in Ukraine 72-meters flagpole recently was constructed in the city of Dnipro.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Islamabad also marks the National Flag Day.
